Military Career, Schools and Deployment

Bruce currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. He has served the past 10 years with the 89th Regional Readiness command. Currently Bruce serves as Director, Team 4, of the 8th Legal Support Command in Omaha, Nebraska. Each month for the past two years Bruce travels to Omaha to lead a Team of JAG attorneys and army paralegals. The Team’s role is to assist soldiers and Commanders with legal issues, freeing them to serve as effectively as possible in protecting our country.

Military Schools

Bruce completed the elite Airborne Infantry School at Fort Benning, GA
in 1990.

Bruce also graduated from the elite “Air assault” infantry School at Fort Hood, TX in 1991.

Bruce Graduated from The Army’s “Command and General Staff College” in 2001.
Military Career
Bruce was commissioned as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army in 1990. He served on active duty for four years.

From 1990 to 1991 Bruce served with the 2nd Armored Division in Fort Hood Texas.

From 1991 to 1993 Bruce served with the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood Texas.

In 1993 Bruce was deployed to Kuwait with the Task Force 1-9 Cavalry in support of operation “Iris Gold”.

Camp Doha, Kuwait where Bruce spent much of his time during Deployment in 1993.

From 1993 to 1994 Bruce was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas home of the 1st Infantry Division.
