Dear Sedgwick County Voter,

It has been a great honor to serve you these past four years as a District Court Judge. I had the privilege of being assigned to preside over juvenile offenders. This has been very challenging and rewarding. 
It is very gratifying to intercede in a young person’s life and see them change in the right direction. However, often young offenders, lacking maturity and judgment, are more dangerous than adult criminals. In these cases community safety requires swift and certain action by the court to remove the juvenile, provided treatment and correction, before returning them to the community.
Being a good judge, a judge that is firm and fair, is hard work, but very rewarding. There is nothing else I would rather do with my life. 
I thank you for this opportunity and ask for your support in the upcoming election so that I may continue in service.
